These were 5 simple drawings. These include:
A mug
The sun
A pencil
A T-shirt
A lightbulb
I these were good quick sketches, however, I think the sun could be more circular and the mug could have a bigger handle. Besides that I Think it was good.

Insta strategy
My strategy
1. figure out which locations i am going to use. e.g Green park, the weire, Victoria park and probably many others
2. Create an Instagram account with a new name and theme.
possible names:
APieceOfBath
Bath Fun
3. make a logo that represents the page/profile
4. Once locations have been decided upon then take six pictures in each of the locations
5. Use filters on each of the photos and save them
6. depending on how many pictures I have, I will upload 1-2 a day
7. Use an analogy website, find out what is the most viewed/liked picture.
8. record findings

90% of Instagram users are younger than 35
According to April 2016 data from comScore, a company that measures Internet traffic, 42 percent of Instagram’s 108 million unique visitors were male, while 58 percent were female
In this statistic, it shows that 88.48 million users are in the United States whereas only 14 million in the UK.
3 conclusions
1. With most of Instagram users being females, I think I need to make my pictures visually appealing by including flowers or some pretty view.
2. Most of Instagram's users are under the age of 35 years old, I should show the beautiful sights of Bath to make people visit more.
3. Although a vast majority of users are in the US, 14.13 million are in the UK. This fits in with the Instagram account as the pictures I have posted are not juts photos of Bath just to look at but to basically get people to visit.

C.U Character detail
Steve- main protagonist- Steve is the main character in this film who started off playing Call of Duty zombies with some online players whilst waiting for his friend Will to visit. In the film, Steve Gets a call from an unknown caller who demanded £10K or else the power will be turned off. Steve is put in a difficult decision as he does not have £10,000 to give him and he is in the middle of his game.
Will- Steve's best friend- meets Steve and takes over his game whilst he talks to the unknown caller.
Will doesn't have a big role towards the story but does have a slight impact to the story. This is where Steve gets the first call and says "I need to give this person £10K or else he will turn off the power." if Will wasn't there then Steve would have met up with the caller without being able to consult with anybody about where he was going. But having Will there, Steve stayed an extra hour which made the caller call a second time and to turn off the power. I think that Will is the catalyst to the caller turning off the power.
Caller unknown (C.U)- Antagonist- Threatens Steve for £10,000 or he will turn of the power. Once he is told that Steve doesn't have the money, he kidnaps him in return. The script has no real motivation for this except for the plot. If I was going to give him a motive, I would say that this character was in the same game as the protagonist where Steve was lightly making fun of him which upset the "caller" and made him get really angry at Steve and accidentally destroyed some of his expensive equipment. This led him to take his anger out on Steve by wanting his money to buy back the equipment. I feel that this isn't the best plot for this movie but I think it works well through how people usually react to raging online.

drawings
This is my drawing of Byron outside Bath Abby with pigeons on his arms and head. This is just a small picture of what it was like and without any major details, Including the benches and the large groups of tourists. I am still getting used to size as shown by the person to the left of Byron. I couldn't get the group photo on the right in great detail as i found it hard to line up the people

Our business idea- Vans
We decided to make a business idea for the Vans shoe company. Our idea was to make a small toy white van with Vans shoes as the wheels and the logo in black on the side. At the back of the van, the doors open up to reveal the companies phone number and email address. This is a small toy metal van which is suitable for kids and I think should be able to come in different colours such as blue, purple, red, gold or silver. Each of these designs attract people who like a particular colour. For example, people who like gold would go for the gold coloured van and this would go for the rest of the colours. The van logo is going to stand out in black font so it is easy to read and people who like these types of shoes would enjoy it.

Focus groups
What I found through this activity is that most of them had their own ideas on what should be on the front of the card as well as what the message is inside. I think that most of them went for the colourful and traditional element of Christmas cards. However, one decided to move away from the traditional Christmas theme and went for a cartoon superhero element instead which I cannot argue against because I think everyone should have an opinion on what they want on their Christmas cards. Other things I have found from this task is that they have gone for a different colour scheme than the traditional White snow or red santa. I found that they liked more of a colourful side to this, for example someone said that they wanted purple and orange in their design whereas another wanted a silver and yellow image. finally, I found that they would each pay between 50p and £3 depending on how good the christmas card looked. Better quality means more money spent on it

audience insta
This is the easy part for those who are setting up a new Instagram account for entertainment purposes including memes, funny videos and just general pictures of a nice view of the ocean shown from the picture on the left. The audience is self determined, this means it is up to the user to upload photos/ videos to appeal to their chosen audience. These audiences are based around people who are teens, female, adults, photographers, artists, male, adults, pet lovers, adventurers, students who decided to use social media during lesson and any other audiences you can think of. The audience is determined on what you post and enjoy. For example, if you posted this picture on the left on Instagram, you would probably expect photographers and holiday lovers to view and like it as it is a great view. Or you can ignore this and just entertain your friends with mug shots.

60 words
My comic book story is about my experience working at Mcdonalds from the start up to now (Now as in it's closed at the moment). The story is just me walking through what I had to go through (both good and challenging times) and how I have survived this long. I will try to give it a bit of humour as being a Mcdonalds worker is not the most entertaining experience in the world and nobody wants the typical life of us Mcdonalds employees

evaluation for xmas cards
This is my final design, It is santa and a snowman drinking coke and giving each other a high-five.
The 3 main things i learnt through this process and making it would be:
1. getting the right background- festive and snowy. uncopyrighted background (hopefully)
2. being able to get the right font to fit "merry christmas" text
3. learning how to screen record
Feedback given
from industry professional-
-make the snowman level to the ground rather than hovering
-give the high five some motion- the lines indicates that they are high-fiving instead of holding hands
-move the lettering somewhere else- so it fits in the card
Lecturer/ Jo-
-move the merry christmas text or make it smaller so it could fit in the card rather than being too close to the edge.
Changes
If I was to make something different next time i would try and make the characters look better (because i'm not particularly good at art) and choose a better background because I don't think that this background looks as good I thought it would and it wasn't what I expected to use
This is a copy of the inside of my card. I was unable to find my original but this is almost identical with the only change would be the font, the font was the same as what was on the front of the card. The opinions I got from the professional and Jo were basically the same, both thought it was traditional and that the only thing I should change would be leave more room under the words "have a very merry Christmas." I have went thought with this alteration and I think the outcome was better than what I had expected.
